About Rehbar

Rehbar Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbi Medical College comprises services in society for Education and Medical Care.
Established in 2008 under the Name The Rehbar Foundation (Regd.) run by a group of well known Doctors, Educationists and Social personalities; who have the strong motive towards their social responsibilities and commitments to make society educated and self-reliant. We have keen interest to improve the social face of minorities and other weaker sections of society with Rehbar Foundation.
Keeping in view the need of the region and to contribute the employment for Girls and Minority section of society & Development of Medical, Nursing & Health Education in Punjab, Rehbar Foundation established “Rehbar institute of Medical Sciences at City Bhawanigarh at NH-7 in Distt. Sangrur. The town lies 19 kilometers east of Sangrur on the Patiala-Sangrur road whereas Patiala is 39 kilometers east of Bhawanigarh.

In 2013 Rehbar Ayurvedic & Unani Tibbi Medical College for BUMS.
Rehbar has a remarkable face in punjab for providing health services that provided to Needies and downtrodden strata of the society especially to rural punjab via various medical check-up camps and distribution of medicines.
Involvement of Students during events makes a strong footprints in earlier stages of career.
The Foundation is a registered society under Societies Registration Act 1960 with the Registrar of Societies. Recognizing the aims & objectives of the Foundation for the welfare of the Society, the Govt. of India awarded Exemption for Donations under Section 80G of Income tax Act to the Society. The foundation has also been recognized under section 12 A of Income Tax Act by Govt. of India.
